I hope you enjoy todays writing prompt...have fun with it...because writing should be fun...and it should be from your heart...
Be creative and think outside the box...
I would like you guys to write the same number of words or more as you did on your 10 min. class writing assignments this last week...If I remember correctly we had students writing from 85 words to 260 words...so try to remember the amount you wrote and see if you can equal or do greater than that amount.
I am excited to learn what it would be like if our class was full of giants...:))

If I were a giant, I would be a helpful and friendly one but a giant that worries a lot. There would be some advantages and some regrets. It could be fun as a giant too! I would plant trees easily but it would look like a bud to me. I would live to be fifty-five thousand, five hundred and fifty five years old. If you're curious why I would live to that age it's because of two reasons. One, my mother loves the number five. Second, it is to help others. I could also be a scientist giant! I would build a solar panel that covers the whole earth, yet it lets sunlight go through. Now, my worries as a giant are, how would I live, where would my house be, and since I'm too big, how will I see deer in my path? I guess I would have to invent lenses to see things closer, build my own house, and only eat as much as an adult. Although there are big advantages being a giant, I would still rather be my size.
ReplyDeleteI I were a giant I would be as tall as the trees in redwood forest. I would use my height to be on of the greatest basketball players, the world has ever known. From there, I would set the world guinness record for the tallest man in the world. then I would join the military to use my height to destroy all enemies that would try to destroy my country after joining the military I would try to receive the medal of honor and bravery. Then I would work for Nasa and launch rockets into space. When I'm done working for Nasa, I would work for an oceanography crew, and help them understand the many ways of the ocean.Then when my dad passes I would take his job as pastor for Seoul union church,and if anybody tried to take away my pride, I would stop them in their tracks. That's what I would do if I was a giant.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a giant. I wouldn't like it. The people would have been scared of me and wouldn't talk to me. But it would be fun to be a giant too! You would have "super strength." You could easily defend yourself, and you could enjoy the nice view! Since you're so tall, you could see over the trees and easily see if there is any trouble. I wouldn't be one of those bad giants. I would want to be a nice giant and help other people (if they aren't afraid of me). Though it would be hard to live as a giant. I would have to watch out if I might step on a person or animal. Also another hard thing to do it to build a house! And buliding all those kind of things. But honestly, being my size is good enough! There are great things that you can do as a giant that a regular sized human can do, but that's okay. Being a regular sized human is good enough.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a giant, I would be as tall as the 63 Building. There are some good things and some bad things about being a giant. Some good things are that you could go from place to place much quicker because you can walk instead of riding a car using shortcuts. Also, you could help people constructing, saving lives, transporting, etc. It would be fun watching the cities from above. Some bad things are that people might be scared of you. You couldn't be normal and clothes and personal belongings should be enormous and difficult to obtain. You couldn't travel in a plane, you could only travel in a ship.

If I were a giant, my head would reach the clouds. I would be able to do a handstand in the ocean. Normal sized people would be like the period at the end of this sentence. One step for me would be a mile. I would become a very famous movie actor and comeout in "Jack and the Beanstalk". A breadcrumb from a loaf of my bread would be the size of 2 full grown men. After my career as an actor, I would become an author and write an autobiography about myself.

If I were a giant I would be a friendly one and give people rides up to the clouds, but I would not charge! I would take a birds-eye view picture of the city. I would travel the world in leaps and try to push the leaning tower of Pisa up straight without breaking it! It would be an astronaut and jump into space without a rocket and check if the moon is actually made of cheese! I would save people in planes before they crashed by catching them and place them gently on the ground. I would step up to Mount Everest and make a world record for the fastest person to get up to the peak. And after my long day, I would take a bath in the Pacific Ocean.

If I were a giant, there would be a bad part and a good part. The bad part would be everybody would be scared of me and scream. Also the bader part is no on would talk to me!!!I have to talk 'cause i love talking.
ReplyDeleteHowever, i think there is more funner things to do if i become a giant. First if i reach the clouds i would grab it and eat it as a cotton candy even though it's not possible:).I would also eat diferrent kinds of food we can't eat when we are regular sized.(Hehe i'm a fatty!'Cause i ♥ EATING!~)Another thing than food is i can travel anywhere i want because since i'm super big giant the pacific ocean would be small for me!! I really like and enjoy traveling.^^ I would travel everywhere in Earth and maybe even Space if it's possible! And another thing is I can do fun tricks like if i do tumblings there would be earthquake or something and if i jumprope the whole world would go weird.Oh! And this is the last thing it's similar with Courtney's like she said I can bath in Pacific Ocean!!!
That would be awesome. Also like people and cars, everything will be MY TOY!! Isn't it awesoME? It would also be funny if my fingers were too thick to press the keyboard or the cellphone or the Ds! That would be real funny and will be like awesome and cool!!♬Anyways I think living regular sized will be good,but if i were a giant it would be cool too! However, I think i am feeling enough right now!Hehe^ㅇ^
If I was a Giant, I would like to be tall enough to be able to reach the clouds and raise my head and watch the planes flying, see how the angels are dancing in the sky, do exercises walking around the world visiting in very easy steps my country, then Korea, US, etc. I would build large buildings, help planes that are having troubles to land, I would help the world in case of tornados or other natural disasters that kill many inocent people. Be a Giant is a dream but, dreams sometimes becomes true
ReplyDeleteIf I were a giant that would be the height of a giant that could easily put a basketball in a hoop standing up I would join a basketball team and then get hired from other coaches that would pay me more money then I would invest mony in businesses like fast food reasturents and stores and other businesses. Then I would buy a mansion, limo with hired driver, all the video games I want, and then I would hire a soccer, basketball, football, and baseball coach and make my very own sports teams that would compete against the other teams in the world and I would be the richest and first trillionare in the world!
ReplyDeleteIf I were a giant, I would first be trained to have a good education and then I would have to go to "Giant college." I will have friends and I hope I get a nice and good job. Then I buy some land for my giantess (my mom) and gianter (my dad) and also a giant car which is tall as a building and wide as the T-rex long time ago! I will be "congratulated" or maybe not... Then I get married to a disgustingest giant ( it is the oppisite for giants. The more ulgier the giants are, the more handsome you are for the gianteer (teenager giants). Then I marry and my gruesome giant die. I feel so sad but I steal his money and buy everything I want ( HAHAHAHA) I buy a car, a bigger house, and some more cars. I get to gready that I lose too much patients and I die. But I have left some giant babies, about 6 of them. Then they rule the whole universe. But oh no oh no!! All my midgits die and I cry at Geaven or was it GeLL?
ReplyDeleteThen one of the "gods" let me come back to Earth and I spank them. And how hard I have done! They cried and sooner they wanted mama giant revenge. So they kill me and I lose another life. And that was the story of me and my babies that die.

If I was a giant, I would be kind to people and solve their problems. I could plant trees easily, build houses, and help be a better economey. I can also have super strength. I can defend myself. I can launch rocets from my hands. I like being a giant, but I'd rather have this size.

I could play basketball with the donut on dunkin donuts. Even though thats pretty cool, people would be scared of me. So i like how i am right now.

ReplyDeleteIf I were a giant, I would find a big cave to live in. Then, as a kid I would travel to different towns to help people with big jobs. When I would be an adult, I would get a job gathering farm animals for some farmers. I would work for the farmers for five years. With the money I would get I would buy a very big lot in a neighborhood. That would be my new sleeping area. I would help people all over the city and would try to get a city job like building buildings. Then I would retire and build myself a very big house in the countryside.

I would also turn off fires by spitting on them,and if another country tried to take over my country I would try to help my country defeat the other country.If I did help my country I would be everything navy because I could stand stand inthe sea's.I would also fight on ground and I would be air force because I would be so tall.
ReplyDeleteIF I WERE A GIANT i would not appriciate being a giant if other people werent giants. Because they would all tease me about being so big and i would have to get special treatment, and special treatment isnt fair. But if everyone else and my surroundings were giant i would be okay with it, except my enemies and mean people. I would stop on them with my pinkie:) It would be fun squashing enemies! I know its bad to say or do that but it would really make me happy. Also i wouldnt like it if i turned greenX( I wish i had quantonium (monsters vs aliens) but i was still teeny.

ReplyDeleteIf i were a giant i would have jumped up as high as i could and reach the sky (still it might be cold)i wouldn't go out to the city because the polices might get the wrong idea of me...i would go to the mountains and go up to the summit.ahhhh~how good will that be,i would go up the mountains so quick!HAHA:)
